Martin Miller's

I love the U.K. for many different reasons: cadbury chocolates, fred perry, david bowie and gin. I have already spoken of my love of Hendricks Gin. But this week I have a new favorite, Martin Miller's. A delicious gin, distilled in England and blended in Iceland with their spring water. Slice of lime, Schwepps Tonic and Martin Miller's = perfection.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy




Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy is a fascinating tale of cold war espionage. The film is full with a great cast including Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy and Colin Firth. Director Tomas Alfredson has a wonderful eye at setting the cold war atmosphere from the bleak streets of London to  the dangerous Istanbul.

Dad's stamps








For years my father's boyhood stamp collection remained tucked away at the the family house. After my wife expressed an interest, we dug out the stamps. Here is a small sample of what we found.
