A Classic
Jewelry of Our Time by Helen Drutt and Peter Dormer is a classic. I found the book during my undergraduate career and became fascinated with the diversity of artists and work. The book focuses on artists who pioneered the field of fine art jewelry after WWII. Gijs Bakker, Peter Chang, Ken Cory and Bernard Schobinger are some of the many artists featured in the book.

Happy New Year!
In 2010 I received my first new year card from my friend Louis Mueller. Since then I have received a card each year. The cards are all hand drawn and colored. Here is the collection so far.

Speaking of New Zealand Jewelers
I was given this book by Fabio Fernandez, Exhibitions Director at The Society of Art and Craft in Boston. It is a great little book showcasing jewelers from New Zealand and giving glimpse of life as a New Zealander. Peter Deckers, Warwick Freedman, Jason Hall and Lisa Walker are all featured artists.
